Undercover as a healthcare worker by day, moonlighting as a contemporary romance novelist by night, Ila Saint James is a lover of all things black, punk rock and of course, spice. She lives in North Carolina with her two dogs, Moira and Ruby. Growing up with a dream of becoming a writer, she set out to make it a reality in adulthood and is happily on that path.

 

An avid music connoisseur, the song "High Hopes" by Panic! at the Disco reminds her to always persevere towards her dreams even in the face of adversity, because no matter what, she's going to find a way to make them happen.
